OsrAAT, Recombinant Alpha-1 Antitrypsin
Alphat-1 Antitrypsin (AAT) is a serine protease inhibitor. It protects tissues from enzymes of inflammatory cells, especially neutrophil elastase. If it is deficiency, neutrophil elastase is free to break down elastin, which contributes to the elasticity of the lungs, resulting in respiratory complications such as emphysema, or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in adults and cirrhosis in adults or children. OsrAAT is derived from rice grain, which contains 384 amino acids with a molecular weight of 43.1kD.
Biological Activity:
3~5 mg OsrAAT inhibit 1 mg PPE (pancreatic porcine elastase) with 10.8 units per mg protein.
Applications:
Biochemical and diagnostic reagents
Cosmetic and beauty care
Mammalian cell culture
Storage and Handling:
Stored at temperatures -20℃ for at least 12 months. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized OsrAAT in sterile PBS. Use as soon as possible after opening. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
3.Secondary structure of OsrATT
4. Biological activity assay of OsrAAT
The secondary structure of OsrAAT was evaluated by comparing the circular dichroism (CD), it shows the secondary structure of OsrAAT is equivalent to pAAT.
